Kangkrome Waterfall is some 77km south of Chumphon town. Take Highway 41 from Chumphon town for some 50km til you reach the Khao
Pip intersection (a Tesco store is on the right just before the
intersection). Turn right at the intersection onto road No. 4139 and
travel
19km til you reach a crossroads, where you turn right.
Follow the road at the base of the mountain for 5km, turning right at the T junction. Turn left 1km further on (sign for the waterfall at this junction) and the waterfall is 2km down this road.
The above pictures of the waterfall have come from Other's posting on the Net for on the day we visited the water was heavily silted.
But this did not seem to put people off for some were still having a swim.
Tenasserim Mountain Range
One Km before the waterfall is a small hill offering a great view of the mountain range running through Khao Thalu.
You are able to see the recently constructed shrine above
Nam Lot Cave.
Seems you are in "wild west" country for the road sign to the waterfall had bullet holes in it. 😁
