Chumphon National Museum

Location: 10.5230307, 99.1930258

Chumphon National Museum is 5Km to the north of the town and is beside the large City Hall.
Entrance Fee is 100 Baht for Foreigners and 20 Baht for Thia's (2015).
The main focus of the exhibits is the Japanese occupation and the impact of typhoon Gay.
The museum was very quiet when we visited in January 2015, none of the interactive exhibits were working and nobody was around to help/advise. Certainly will not keep your kids attention.
For Foreigners who are paying 5 times the Thai entrance fee it's certainly not worth it. Of my over 150 places to visit in Chumphon this sadly is the last on my list.

Would suggest you check out the free virtual tour before making the decision to visit -
