Chumphon National Museum
Note - the museum is closed of Mondays and Tuesdays
Entrance Fee is 100 Baht for Foreigners and 20 Baht for Thia's (2015).
The main focus of the exhibits is the Japanese occupation and the impact of typhoon Gay.
The museum was very quiet when we visited in January 2015, none of the
interactive exhibits were working and nobody was around to help/advise. Certainly will not keep your kids attention. For Foreigners who are paying 5 times the Thai entrance fee it is a shame that there is not even a leaflet explaining what's on show.
Would suggest you check out the free virtual tour before making the decision to visit -
