Pim Cave
Location: 10.563483, 99.145008
A small passageway to the left of the cavern's entrance leads to a second entrance/exit.
Here there is a nice stairway has been built, with two nāgas forming the handrail. The body of the nāgas are made from sea shells and painted green.
We also found a second cave, or might just be an overhang, to the right of Pip cave but was unable to explore due to it being flooded. So not sure how far it extended into the hill.
When trying to find Hat Phankrai Cave took a wrong turning and by chance
found this cave. Pim cave is on the opposite side of the hill and is
located within Tham Pip Priest Camp Site. It is only 13Km from Chumphon town. Take road 1001 heading north west out
of Chumphon and take the first road on the left after the entrance to the Wat.
The Priest Camp Site is about 1Km along this road.
The 'Caves & Caving in Thailand' website has referenced this as Cave No. CP0104. The cave is just like a large dome of about 10m in diameter. The Priest Camp Site is about 1Km along this road.
