Wat Pa Yang

Location - https://maps.app.goo.gl/EoEQeXLvEDJNHnmj8

Wat Pa Yang is 22Km from Chumphon town. Take Road No 3180 heading north out of town and the temple is on the right 1Km after the junction for the 3201.
There is a military saying : "If it moves, salute it; if it doesn't move, paint it!". Well here the paint pot contained gold.
As you enter the temple complex, to the left are buildings of Chinese Buddhism influence.
Directly opposite the entrance is a seated Buddha and Bell Tower.
Surrounding the Buddha statue is a fence containing bells, for communicating with the spirits.
Taking the road up the hill to the right of the seated Buddha statue you come to the Ordination Hall.
They certainly used every bit of space on this hill top for it was difficult to get full photo's of the hall.
Beside the Ordination Hall is another building. Not sure what the purpose of this building is as it was still under construction. We were able to go inside whereas the Ordination Hall was locked.
On the eastern side of the hill you find a stairway which will take you down to a wooded area.
Walking through the trees you will come to a large seated Monk statue.
To the right of the seated Monk statue a pathway can be found which takes you to a building containing a small reclining Buddha statue.
