Thung Makham Beach
Thung Makham Beach is 24Km from Chumphon town. Take Roads No 4119 and 4017 heading south
east out of town (follow the signs for the Lomprayah High Speed Ferry).
As road 4017 nears the beach some 23km from Chumphon town turn right (nearly straight on as the road bends).
200m up this road you will find the beach.
Thung Makham is a long curved sandy beach lined with pine trees, which offer nice shade from the sun. Not sure if the locals organize beach clean-ups but generally have found the beach in a good condition.
At the northern end of the beach is the Thung Makham Noi pier.
