Khao Phang Pang Headland

Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/pG3Wd8RoXfdNVGJW8

Khao Phang Pang Headland is about 25 kilometres southeast of Chumphon town by road No. 4119 and 4017. Take the turning on the right for the Mu Ko Chumphon National Park.
And drive until the road ends at the headland.
At the headland you have a nice panoramic view around Thung Kha Bay.
On the side of the hill there is a shrine (translated as Father Ta Fa Lan Shrine). At the base of the stairs up to the shrine you are greeted by two large multiple headed nāgas.
At the top of the stairs is a small building containing the shrine.
From the elevated level of the shrine there is a good view out towards the sea.
Looking westwards you can just make out the big Buddha at Wat Khao Chedi. Sadly on the day my eyes were working better than the camera and the haze did not help.

The headland seems a popular place for the locals to fish.
