Khao Mon (Blue Eye) Cave

Location: 10.899722, 99.500250

Khao Mon Cave is some 81km from Chumphon Town. Take road No. 3180 out of Chumphon Town. After 21km turn right onto road No. 3201 which forms part of the "Scenic Route". You will see these signs along the road.

Follow the "Scenic Route" on roads 3201, 4004, 3253 and the 4015. 3Km past Wat Kaeo Prasert turn right, Wat Tham Tong is on the left.

1km along this road you will see a large isolated hill (Khao Mon) on your right and the cave is in the eastern end about two-thirds of the way up.

When we visited in February 2018 the cave was not easy to see from the road. Also having the family with me had to rule out what looked a difficult climb up to the cave. So for those with a bit of adventure and gear I have to refer you to the Facebook post made by @thailandcave -

The name "Blue Eye" is what @thailandcave have called the cave.
