Tham Thong-Bang Boet Beach is some 84km from Chumphon Town. Take road No. 3180 out of Chumphon Town. After 21km turn right onto road No. 3201 which forms part of the "Scenic Route".  You will see these signs along the road.
Follow the "Scenic Route" on roads 3201, 4004, 3253 and the 4015. The 4015 runs along side Tham Thong-Bang Boet Beach 22Km after turning onto the 4015.
Thong-Bang Boet Beach is about 8km long facing east and is of a fine white sand. When we visited in February the water was clear and the beach relatively clean.
You first approach the beach from the southern end where there is a large headland. Here you will find many squid boats moored.
At the base of the headland there is a small cave called Tham Thong.
In the central area of Tham Thong-Bang Boet Beach where there is no protection from the headlands sand dunes have developed.
walkway provided easy access to see the dunes.
At the northern end of the beach, where Chumphon borders Prachuap Khiri Khan, there is another headland and a few Resorts can be found here.
