Pu Chao Nam Phut Spring

Pu Chao Nam Phut Spring is 21km south of Chumphon town. Take Highway 41 for 15km and turn at the U-turn after the junction for road 2018 (don't go down the 2018). Once round the U-turn take the first road on the left and travel down this road for 4km until you come to a crossroads.

Turn right at the crossroads and then right again at the T-junction 1km down the road. The carpark for the spring is on the right 500m from the T-junction.

Directly in front of the carpark is a lovely clear stream.

Water comes directly from a spring and this a popular spot for those wishing to have a swim. Being shallow it is safe for children. 

The spring can be found by taking the pathway on the opposite side of the stream.

The spring is in its natural state with water rising at quite a force to cause ripples. 

The water coming from the spring flows via the stream for about 50m until it enters a large pond.

It is possible to walk all the way round the large pond.

In the north western corner of the pond you can find some shaded seating. The trees in this area have some amazing vines.

From the shop opposite the carpark is it possible to buy (10 Baht a bag) food to feed the fish in the pond.

The pond is well stocked, with the fish going into a frenzy for the food.
