Khao Noi Viewpoint

Khao Noi Viewpoint is 99km south of Chumphon in the grounds of Khao Noi Monastery. Take Highway 41 south to Lamae, turning left after 91 km onto road 4112 which will take you into the town. By following  directions to the Maejo University you will eventually come too the coast road 4019. Turn left onto the coast road and just after the Market Under The Trees from a bridge you will see the Monastery on the hill to the left.

Turn left a the T junction and after 500m you will find the entrance to the Monastery on the right (sorry photo taken coming in the other way)

At the Monastery you will find 3 nice seated Buddhas and a Chedi overlooking the sea in the distance.

And what looks like an old chedi which now has a small Buddha placed on it.

During our last visit (December 2021) we noticed more work going on where a platform is being constructed in front of the statues. The work was actually being undertaken by a Monk.
