Khao Sek View Point

Khao Sek View Point is found on the hill beside Wat Sekkharam some 68Km south of Chumphon town. Take Highway 41 from Chumphon town for 67 Km till you see the junction for Road No. 4099 on your left towards Pak Nam Lang Suan. The entrance to the Wat is on the right 1.5Km down this road.

 

There is a concrete road that takes you to the top of the hill, which ends at a small carpark.

At the top you find statues a seated Buddha and Monk under a decorative housing.

From this position you get good views looks south, west and northerly. This is the view looking northwards.

You can see the large warehouses used for storing and distributing local produce, with the larger pink and white building being Lang Suan hospital.

The view westwards looks over Lang Suan.

You are right above Wat Khan Ngoen Community School.

And to the south.

You can clearly hear the trains crossing on the large iron rail bridge over the Lang Suan river.
