Khao Phang Pang Viewpoint

Looking north-eastwards you can see Thung Makham Bay and ferry terminal for the high-speed catamaran to Koh Tao.Looking straight out (south-eastwards) the main island you can see is Ko Thonglang.Looking north-westwards through the trees you can see across Thung Kha Bay and the mangrove forest. On a clear day it is possible to see the big Buddha at Wat Khao Chedi.
Khao Phang Pang is the hill just west of the Thung Kha Bay Mangrove Forest Park and is about 24 kilometers southeast of Chumphon town by road No. 4119 and 4017. The road takes you right up to the viewpoint but do take care as it is very steep.
