Pak Nam Chumphon Temples

Pak Nam Chumphon Temples are about 15 kilometers southeast of Chumphon town. Road No. 4001 and 4119 take you directly to Pak Nam Chumphon. Drive through the town and you will see the large gate to the Chinese Temple on the right.
The temple has been built on the side of the hill (Khoa Mutsee).
What makes this Chinese Temple a little different is that at the side of the main building is a cave (manmade) with a giant snake inside.
Was difficult to get a photo as the snake takes up the whole cave.
Next to the Chinese Temple is Wat Pak Nam Chumporn. This is a typical Thai style Buddhist temple with an ornate Ordination Hall as its center piece.
More photos of this building can be found in the Chumphon Temples Photo Blog - https://chumphontemples.blogspot.com/2022/01/wat-pak-nam-chumporn.html
To the right of the Ordination Hall there are steps that lead up the hill. Here you will find a large golden stupa.
There is also a small building containing Buddha images and a shrine. You will notice all around this area the writing is in Burmese script which most probably means it has been funded and built by the local Myanmar community.
Being high on the hill the views from here are rather good (note to self, got to come back on a clearer day)
You get a nice view down onto Ko Muttaphon.
