Nam Cha Cave

Location - https://maps.app.goo.gl/4cqfp8PHaZHndMya8

Nam Cha Cave is 42km south of Chumphon town. Take Highway 41 for about 34km till you reach the Don Wa T Junction (there is a large PT gas station on the right just after the junction). Turn right and after 7km there is a T junction (just after Wat Nam Cha) where you must make a right. Take the first road on the left 1 km after the T junction.
The cave is 400m up this road on the left behind the durian orchard. This is private land and Google Maps currently shows the cave as permanently closed. Maybe the farmer does not like people entering his orchard. We asked the farmer for permission (lives in the first house on the right just after the cave) and he kindly acted as our guide.
The cave is a large through cave with the smaller western entrance being at a higher elevation. So the cave itself is sloped and a bit of a steep climb in places.

The western opening allows the sun to light up the cave bring out the colours of the rocks.
We found water in the cave.
On asking our guides the name of this cave we ended up calling it Cave No Name. Felt this unfair for such lovely cave so for this blog have called it Nam Cha, after the village, which is the same name for the Health Centre some 300m away. The 'Caves & Caving in Thailand' website has referenced this Cave as CP0195.
