Wat Santi Khiriwanaram Viewpoint

Wat Santi Khiriwanaram is 68 km south of Chumphon Town. Take Highway 41 from Chumphon town for some 50km till you reach the Khao Pip intersection (a Tesco store is on the right just before the intersection). Turn right at the intersection onto road No. 4139 and after 16 km turn left onto road No. 4091 in the direction of Ban Khao Khai. The track up to Wat Santi Khiriwanaram is 1 km down this road on the left.

Whilst not a paved road up to the temple it is passable for a salon car. On the way up you you can see the temple on the hill.

The main temple building is at the end of the track. The building has a balcony which is where you can take in the views.

From the balcony you look directly at the Khao Thalu section of the Tenasserim Mountain Range.

Must be one of best advantage points to view the mountain with a hole in it.
