Wat Phru Yai

Wat Phru Yai is 16 km north of Chumphon town. Take road No. 4035 out of Chumphon town for 14 km and turn left here.

2 Km along this road you should see the temple on your right.

The reason for visiting this temple is it's giant statues. There is this 8m tall statue of a monk and unsure why and what he is pointing at.

Next to the Monk is a large uncompleted building which has 3 seated statues of Buddha on the roof.

In a grass area to the left of the entrance road is this giant Monk's head.

And to the left of the head is a Buddha statue guarded by nāgas.
