https://maps.app.goo.gl/3cLjGF6yPHNexoGf8Muttaphon Island is a small island located 500 meters of the coast at Pak Nam Chumphon, which is about 15 kilometers southeast of Chumphon town. Road No. 4001 and 4119 take you directly to Pak Nam Chumphon. Drive through the town and you will come to the beach from where you can easily see the island.
During May and June when there are the very low tides it is possible to walk to the island along a sand bar.
The island is approximately 100 meters wide by 350 meters long, with a small peak approximately 50 meters high. The steps to the top of the island can be found just before the Radio Station operated by Department of Hydrology.
At the top of the stairway is Malik Pagoda (Stupa) and a lighthouse.
From this elevation position you get a view looking back towards Pak Nam Chumphon.
