Lok Phae Beach

Lok Phae Beach is 56km south of Chumphon town. Take the Sawi junction off Highway 41. At the traffic lights in Sawi turn right and travel down road 4003 for 10km until you reach this junction. There is a row of shops on the right.

Take the un-named road to the right and travel down this road for 9km. There is a crossroads where you go straight over and a left turn where you just follow the main road. Where the tarmac road end continue straight over on the dirt track. The beach is 1km down this track.

Lok Phae Beach  is 400m of sandy beach between two rock outcrops.

You have a nice view of Ko Thong Kaeo.

Trees line the beach which offer shade however the water remains shallow for a long way out which is not great for swimming. 

A stream enters the bay at the western end. The water is clear and a good area for children to play.
