Wat Bo Khun is 74km south of Chumphon Town. Take Highway 41 towards Lang Suan. Just before Lang Suan turn left onto Road No. 4099 heading towards Pak Nam Lang Suan. After about 5km the 4099 does a sharp right where you take the road to your left.
Follow this road for 2.5km and the entrance to the temple is on the right. The Chedi is on the top of the hill beside the temple and the steps up are on the right just as you enter.
As you climb up the steps you get a good view over the plantations looking northwards.
Two-thirds of the way up is a level area where they are building an ordination hall.
The Guardians to the hall have a good view looking north.
And to the east.
Behind the ordination hall you will find the steps that take you to the top of the hill where the Chedi is located.
The Chedi was recently restored in 2022.
