Wat Bo Samrong Viewpoint

Wat Bo Samrong Viewpoint is some 72Km from Chumphon Town. Take road No. 3180 out of Chumphon Town. After 21km turn right onto road No. 3201 which forms part of the "Scenic Route".  You will see these signs along the road.

Follow the "Scenic Route" on roads 3201, 4004, 3253 and the 4015. The road up to the viewpoint is on the left some 10Km after turning onto the 4015.

The road goes all the way to the top of the hill. Do take care as it is very steep and narrow in places. At the top you it a large sitting Buddha statue. 

From the balcony of the building behind the Buddha you get a good view looking to the south down the coast

You can see the Wat Na Khai Viewpoint.

The view to the west is rather flat, looking across plantations.

The best view is looking eastwards down onto Maha Bay.

You can see the whole of one of Chumphon's largest islands, Ko Wiang.
