Khao Wat Derm Viewpoint

Khao Wat Derm Viewpoint is on the hill in the grounds of Wat Na Khai some 62Km from Chumphon Town. Take road No. 3180 out of Chumphon Town. After 21km turn right onto road No. 3201 which forms part of the "Scenic Route".  You will see these signs along the road.

Follow the "Scenic Route" on roads 3201, 4004 and 3253. The road up to the temple is on the right some 11Km after turning onto the 3253.

Follow this concrete road round to the temple. At the far end of the temple grounds you will find the road up to the viewpoint. This road is a little steep, however you will find a good parking area at the summit.

On top of the hill is this Chedi.

From here you get nearly a 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounding area. Looking northeast you get a good view down over Maha Bay. 

Looking east is the island of Ko Wiang.

Looking northwest are shrimp farms.

To the north you can see Wat Bo Samrong.
