Location:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/wRmtxKNZpF37eviQ6Khoa Mutsee is about 20 kilometers southeast of Chumphon town. Take road No. 4119 and after 19 km turn right onto the 4098.
One kilometer along the 4098, just over the hill, take the road to the left. It is clearly signposted to the viewpoint. This road takes you to the summit, but take care it is very steep. The car parking area at the summit is limited so at busy times you may have to park at a lower car park. It is about a 200m walk from this car park to the summit up a very steep, stepped path. So best to plan your visit at an off peak time.
From the top it is possible to get a nearly 360 deg panoramic view, which on a good day offers some of the best views in Chumphon. This is the view north looking towards
Pak Hat beach.
The view eastwards is out to sea where there's the island of Ko Sumet.
The view south is looking down upon
Pharadonphap Beach.
The view to the southwest.
Looking westwards over the fishing village of Paknam Chumphon.
On the summit of Khoa Mutsee there is a statue of Phra Bodhisattya Awalokitesuan in Maharajalilasana.
There is also a restaurant and a coffee shop with both offering nice seating areas to take in the views.
Also there is that "stuff" to help take that social media moment.
