Pak Hat Beach

Pak Hat beach is 8km east of Chumphon Town by taking road No. 4001. 500m after the Military Youth Monument take the road to your left. Less than 2 Km along this road you will come to the road that runs alongside the beach.

The beach is not the best for swimming as the water is generally silty being close to the Chumphon river estuary.

Also close to the road it is rocky, however low tide exposes sand banks which are good for paddling.

Being the closest beach to Chumphon town it is popular place with the locals to visit in the evenings where you find a number of food stalls.

You have a good view of Khoa Mutsee which is at the southern end of the beach.

At the north end of the beach you will find some mangroves.
