Thong Tanod Beach

Thong Tanod Beach is 55km south of Chumphon town. Take the Sawi junction off Highway 41. At the traffic lights in Sawi turn right and travel down road 4003 for 10km til you reach this junction. There is a row of shops on the right.

Take the un-named road to the right and travel down this road for 8km. There is a crossroads where you go straight over. Taking this road to the left, just after Ban Thong Tanot Beach, will lead you to the beach.

Thong Tanod Beach is 400m of sandy beach between between two headlands. Trees line the beach which offer shade however the water remains shallow for a long way out which is not great for swimming. 

To the northern end of the beach you will find a group of trees that have established themselves within the tidal zone.
