Tong Tom Pier

Tong Tom Pier is 58km south of Chumphon. Take Highway 41 from Chumphon town for some 36km until you reach the junction for the 4003, signposted to Sawi. At the traffic lights in Sawi turn right and travel down road 4003 for 10km til you reach this junction. There is a row of shops on the right.

Take the un-named road to the right and travel 2km to a crossroads. At the crossroads turn right onto road 4011. 3km down road 4011 turn left onto the road that passes through the entrance portal Wat Thong Tom Yai.

The road ends at the pier where where you will see the seahorses and welcome sign.

The pier is used by the local fishermen and creates a nice viewpoint.

You get a nice view looking south along the coast, looking towards Had Sai Ri Beach.

From the pier you can see a number of islands. The nearest is Ko Thong Kaeo.

And to the left and behind Ko Thong Kaeo is Ko Mat Wai Yai
