Wat Khao Thung Maha Viewpoint

Wat Khao Thung Maha Viewpoint is on the hill in the grounds of Wat Khao Thung Maha some 61Km from Chumphon Town. Take road No. 3180 out of Chumphon Town. After 21km turn right onto road No. 3201 which forms part of the "Scenic Route".  You will see these signs along the road.

Follow the "Scenic Route" on roads 3201, 4004 and 3253. The entrance to the temple is on the right some 9Km after turning onto the 3253.

A road takes you up to the Ordination Hall and from there you a good view looking down over Maha Bay.

When you look along the coast you can just see the Buddha at Wat Bo Samrong.
