Saphli Pier

Saphli Pier is 22Km north east of Chumphon town. Take Road 3180 out of Chumphon til you reach a humpback bridge over a small river with many fishing boats. The road down to the pier is 200m past this bridge on the right just before the CJ More store.

The pier is just over 200m long and is of concrete construction. It is vehicle width so had been made for unloading the squid boats.

The pier is popular for fishing from and you can see many shoals of fish swimming around the pier supports.

The pier gives a good advantage point looking northwards to Saphli Beach with Khao Dinsor in the background.

That dark patch in the water was a shoal of small fish.

You will normally find the colourful squid boats at the end of the pier.
